Description

The DMV® Scleral Cup™ is a specialized suction cup tool designed to improve handling of scleral contact lenses and prosthetic eyes. Used for decades, it has become the industry standard for patients, contact lens fitters, and ocularists worldwide.

The DMV Scleral Cup securely grasps scleral lenses and prosthetic eyes to assist with insertion, removal, and centering. In clinical and patient settings, it is commonly used to insert PROSE and scleral lenses.

To remove a scleral contact lens, gently squeeze the tapered handle before placing the suction cup onto the lens surface. Once properly seated, releasing the pressure creates suction, which allows for careful lens removal. For insertion, place the wetted lens on the cup and gently position it onto the eye before releasing the suction.

The DMV Scleral Cup can also be used to remove prosthetic eyes by applying controlled suction to the surface of the prosthesis and releasing it using the handle.

This product should not be used on diseased, injured, or otherwise compromised eyes, and it is not intended for use with soft contact lenses. It contains natural rubber latex, which may cause allergic reactions.Keep out of reach of small children due to choking hazard.

To clean and care for it, wash it frequently in warm, soapy water and allow it to air dry.
