Description

The DMV® Classic™ is a practical and reliable tool for removing and inserting gas-permeable contact lenses, including those used for orthokeratology (ortho-k) and corneal reshaping.

Corneal reshaping has become a popular alternative to refractive surgery because it is reversible. Proper handling of gas permeable lenses during insertion and removal is essential for wearers. The DMV® Classic™ is designed specifically for this purpose.

Its unique design allows the suction to easily turn on and off by compressing the handle, which makes it especially suitable for handling larger gas-permeable lenses. The lens can be released from the Classic without sustaining damage.

For removal, gently center the Classic on the lens and release it by squeezing the handle. For insertion, place the properly prepared, wet lens on the cup and guide it to the eye without squeezing the handle. This allows the lens to adhere naturally to the cornea.

Note that the DMV® Classic™ is not intended for use with soft contact lenses and should not be used on diseased or injured corneas. In case of incorrect application, the suction can be released immediately by squeezing the handle.

Each purchase includes one DMV® Classic™ and a clear carrying case. The device should be cleaned regularly with warm, soapy water and allowed to air dry. This product contains natural rubber latex, which may cause allergic reactions. Keep it away from small children due to choking hazard.
