DMV Ultra™ Contact Lens Remover and Inserter

The DMV® Ultra™ Contact Lens Remover and Inserter is designed for the safe handling of gas-permeable and hard contact lenses. With a small suction cup attached to a handle, the DMV® Ultra™ enables the controlled removal and insertion of RGP and scleral lenses. It is the most popular DMV® product for removing RGP lenses.

With the DMV® Ultra™, insertion and removal are fairly aligned with the line of sight, which supports precise lens positioning. For removal, moisten the suction cup and gently guide it toward the centered lens. When positioned parallel to the lens, light pressure causes the lens to adhere to the cup, allowing it to be safely removed from the eye. After removal, the lens can be released by sliding it off the suction cup sideways.

For insertion, place the clean, wet lens on the insertion cup at the end of the handle. The lens adheres during placement and quickly transfers to the eye upon contact.

The DMV® Ultra™ is intended for removing gas-permeable lenses, including PROSE and scleral lenses, and can also be used for insertion. It is not suitable for soft contact lenses. Use is not recommended for diseased or injured eyes. This product contains natural rubber latex, which may cause allergic reactions. Keep this and all medical devices away from small children.

Cleaning is simple: frequently wash with warm, soapy water. The DMV® Ultra™ can also be boiled or autoclaved.
