The EZI Lens Applicator Ring enables one-finger insertion of scleral lenses 15 mm and larger for easier, safer, and more controlled lens application.
The EZI Lens Applicator Ring is a practical tool designed to assist with the application of scleral lenses measuring 15 mm or larger. Made from pliable, medical-grade plastic, the ring expands to fit a variety of finger sizes. It is worn on the index finger with the palm facing upward.
The EZI Lens Applicator Ring enables one-finger lens insertion and assists with self-positioning of the lens during application. Its design allows for more controlled handling and may help reduce air entrapment when applying scleral lenses. The applicator ring is safe, effective, and suitable for inserting PROSE and scleral cups.
Before use, hands should be thoroughly washed and rinsed. Remove the applicator ring from its storage container and rinse it with a doctor-prescribed saline solution. Center the lens on top of the ring and fill it with sterile saline solution prescribed by a doctor. Then, apply the lens to the eye using the applicator ring.
To clean and care for the EZI Lens Applicator Ring, rinse it with a doctor-recommended cleaning solution. Gently rub the surface with your fingers, then rinse it thoroughly and allow it to air dry.
