Menicon Progent Single Use

Menicon Progent® Protein Remover is a highly effective cleaning system designed for gas-permeable (RGP) and large-diameter scleral contact lenses. Regular protein removal is recommended to ensure comfort and maintain eye health while prolonging the life of gas permeable lenses.

Progent® loosens and removes surface protein deposits during a short 30-minute soak. Unlike conventional cleaning or polishing methods, Progent® provides deep cleaning without mechanical rubbing or abrasives. This makes it an efficient and convenient solution for removing stubborn deposits that can accumulate over time.

The system is compatible with all RGP contact lenses, including scleral lenses with diameters ranging from 11 to 23 mm, when used with the Progent® Large Diameter (Scleral) Lens Case. The non-vented, barrel-style case is made of a clear polycarbonate cylinder with an ABS screw cap, and the lens baskets are marked “L” and “R” for easy identification of the lenses. The case holds the required 10 mL of mixed Progent® A/B solution for effective protein removal.

Progent® treatments are recommended every two weeks or as directed by your eye care professional (up to a maximum of every five days). Menicon Progent® should not be used on lenses treated with Tangible Hydra-PEG, as it may damage the coating. Each solution container is clearly marked with a lot number and expiration date.
